Ayurveda & Yoga Luxury Wellness Retreat
Spiritual & Cultural Immersion in India
December 19, 2026 – January 2, 2027
14 nights | A carefully guided, intimate experience with yoga, Ayurvedic treatments, transformations, palaces, the Taj Mahal and more!
Step into India—the birthplace of yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda. A land of vibrant color, ancient wisdom, and quiet depth. This is not a typical trip. It is a thoughtfully curated two-week immersion designed to guide you into both the spiritual heart and the refined beauty of India.
Shakti Path is a return to the sacred feminine within. In the yogic tradition, Shakti is the vital life force—the creative, intuitive, and deeply nourishing energy that moves through all of us. These journeys are designed to gently awaken that energy. Through rest, ritual, movement, and immersion in the land where these traditions were born, you are invited to soften, to receive, and to reconnect with your own inner vitality. This is not about becoming someone new— but about walking the path and remembering who you have always been.
Who is this trip for?
This trip is exclusively for women. It is designed for adventurous women who have long dreamed of experiencing Incredible India. It welcomes those who love yoga and Indian spiritual traditions. It is also for the woman who has tried Western medicine without finding the answers she seeks and now wishes to pursue deep healing through Ayurveda. It is for women who need a reset from constant giving and are ready to receive. This journey is for women who prefer to travel in a small cohort of like-minded companions, guided by someone from India who understands the language, culture, and ancient traditions.
The retreat will be led by Vandana, founder of Prana Buzz, an organization focused on spiritual and creative collaborative events in Bozeman, Montana. Vandana grew up in India, doing yoga and has been leading yoga classes, workshops and training for 20 years .
This is a journey that consists of two parts - South India and North India, inward and outward, spiritual and cultural..
FIRST PART OF THE RETREAT - SPIRITUAL HEALING IN SOUTH INDIA
We begin our sacred journey along the Arabian Sea, in the lush, tropical landscape of Kerala. Here, you will be gently guided into a 10-day Ayurvedic immersion—a time of deep restoration and renewal. You will meet with an ayurveda doctor who will consult with you on your health, analyze your ‘doshas’ and design a personalized treatment plan for you. Through daily 2 hour long treatments, yoga, meditation, and nourishing meals, the body begins to release āma (stored toxins), while the mind softens and settles. Each day in Kerala is intentionally designed to support:
Deep rest - there will be plenty of time for you to relax and just be you. Read, journal. swim in the pool, walk on the beach. This is required for your nervous system to integrate the power of the ayurvedic massages etc.
Detox: no alcohol or meat. Eat healing vegetarian foods per your dosha. Panchakarma (Ayurvedic cleanse) available at no extra cost. This is optional and something you can decide after consulting the doctor.
Emotional release - through Ayurvedic treatments prescribed by a doctor you will be pampered physically and also release deeply held emotion psychologically from the manomaya kosha.
Re-connection - daily yoga and meditation practices designed by Vandana to help you re-align with your life force, ‘prana’.
This is not just a retreat. It is a return to yourself. A self that may have been buried beneath responsibilities, expectations, and the constant pace of daily life. A self that is ready to be cared for, nourished, and restored.
And perhaps most importantly— you don’t have to think about anything. For 15 days you do not have to worry about anything.
From the moment you arrive, you are held. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged, so you can simply arrive, receive, and allow the transformation to unfold.

SECOND PART OF THE TRIP - CULTURAL EXPERIENCES IN COLORFUL NORTH INDIA
After days of deep rest by the ocean—immersed in yoga, meditation, daily Ayurvedic treatments, and the gentle rhythm of coastal life—you will feel renewed, grounded, and open. From this place of restoration, you will be ready to explore more. We will fly north and start the second half of our journey in India. We fly to Jaipur—the radiant “Pink City”—where we will experience a different side of India.
Here, you will stay in a beautifully restored heritage palace ‘haveli’, where the elegance of a bygone era still lingers in every detail.
There is a sense, almost immediately, of stepping into something timeless… of being welcomed not just as a visitor, but as a guest. Wake to courtyard breakfasts on patterned tiles, wander rose-scented lanes and private palace rooms, and return to tea on brass trays by a flickering diya. You will have a ‘mehendi’ artist paints paisleys and peacocks on your hands, then an evening drive past illuminated palaces completes the scene. Gracious, unhurried hospitality makes you feel briefly like royalty.
Be treated like Royalty
in Jaipur
Stay in a restored Jaipur haveli with carved jharokhas, cool courtyards, and antique furnishings.
Yoga by the pool
Excursions to City Palace
Shopping in bustling bazaars filled with spices, handicrafts and souvenirs
You will wander through Jaipur’s vibrant streets and hidden alleys—alive with color, scent, and sound. From the grandeur of the City Palace to the intricate beauty of its bazaars, this is India in all her richness. You’ll move through markets filled with handwoven textiles, spices, jewelry, and craft traditions passed down through generations—each piece carrying a story. For those drawn to textiles, a visit to the renowned Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing offers a deeper glimpse into the artistry and heritage of block printing. And above it all you will witness the majestic Amber Fort rise from the hills—a place of quiet power and breathtaking beauty.
This second half of the journey is an invitation to engage, to explore, and to experience India’s cultural richness—after you have already softened, slowed, and returned to yourself. It is a balance of inner and outer journey. Of stillness… and wonder. This will be a time for you to let your inner child explore, play and delight.
Our journey comes to a close in Agra. We spend two nights here, allowing space not only to witness one of the world’s most extraordinary monuments—but to mark a moment of transition.
On New Year’s Eve, we will gather for a celebratory evening together—a beautiful gala dinner to honor the journey you have taken, and the woman you are becoming. Then, on the first morning of 2027, we rise early for a sunrise viewing of the iconic Taj Mahal. At first light, the marble glows softly—timeless, luminous, and still.
Often described as a symbol of eternal love, the Taj Mahal offers something deeper when experienced in this way. It becomes a mirror. A quiet invitation to stand in reflection, to honor your own journey… and to step forward into a new year rooted in self-trust, self-devotion, and renewal.
This is not simply a visit. It is a moment to seal your own intention—to carry forward a sense of love, healing, and expansion into the year ahead
On January 2nd, we return together to New Delhi. From here, you may begin your journey home—or continue onward, if you feel called to explore further. Support will be provided for onward travel and accommodations, so that your departure feels as seamless and supported as your arrival.
You leave not only with memories of India— but with a deeper connection to yourself. You will leave a different woman, one who is deeply nourished and healed. You will return home with a new found energy of adventure and insight into your self.

Why travel with me?
A rare opportunity to experience India guided by a native teacher who is rooted in its culture, traditions, and living wisdom.
India is not a place you simply visit. It is a place you enter—layered, complex, and deeply alive. It is a place that transforms you! To experience it fully, you need more than an itinerary. You need someone who understands it from within.
I was born and raised in India. My relationship to this land is not occasional or inherited from afar—it is lived, rooted, and ongoing. This is where I first turned to yoga and meditation, not as a practice, but as a way of navigating life. These traditions are not something I discovered later—they are part of the cultural fabric I come from.
Over the past two decades, I’ve also built a life teaching yoga in Montana—holding space for students who know me, trust me, and have practiced with me for years. This work—bringing women to India—sits at the intersection of those two worlds, my two homes. It allows me to serve as a bridge. When you travel with me, you are not navigating India as an outsider trying to interpret what you see. You are being guided by someone who:
Speaks the language
Understands the cultural nuances
Has trusted relationships and local connections
Knows how to move through India with ease and awareness
Every detail of this journey has been carefully considered and designed with you in mind—from where we stay, to who we work with, to how each experience unfolds. This is not something that can be replicated by a traditional travel company. It is a deeply personal offering—designed to give you access to an India that feels authentic, supportive, and held. So that you can relax into the experience…
and allow the journey to meet you fully.
